I was so exited when I heard the new protease inhibitors for Hep C had been approved by the FDA, not so excited about the price, and totally let down when my doctor told me since I was already on a protease inhibitor for HIV, I couldn't be on a protease inhibitor for Hep C at the same time- here are no trials for dual infection. This was only for patients with Hep C only. The bottom fell out of my world.
