i'm reading this and that on the net about hiv but nothing interesting about trial or application of these findings, i guess it's going to take another 40years before a cure (if ever) be found...frustrated cause i got it through blood transfusion
so another news on hiv...i think we are only going to read that this is happening and that is happening and some new thing/stuff is found out....will we see its application...sometimes i just get so frustrated...i just know that it is going to take another 15years or so to get news SAMHD1's applicability if there is ever gonna be one

I don't think u understand the article correctly mate. This is not a trial, or a product, it's just a report stating that we have discovered how certain proteins can protect certain cells from HIV. I'm sure it will lead to further study, but there Are no 'products' on the market yet mate. It's just an important discovery.
I think this is still on trial phase. I hope this would be successful and would finally end the sufferings of those inflicted with HIV. I hope they work on a cure fast because many are still dying!
will this be available to the public soon , and can i ask my doctor about it, when and how soon. or is this still in research. to be introduced as a drug for consumption.
