For the last two years I have had at three four MRSA infections and the last one put me in the hospital for 1.5 weeks. However, I am not in the later stages of this disease. I have been infected since 1989 and my T's are in the mid 600's. Just wanted to comment and say that MRSA also infects those that are not as progessed in the disease process.

I had two MRSA infections before learning I was positive. My baseline CD4 was 260, suggesting that it may be a risk even with higher CD4 counts.
