Just read the article about the benefits of using statins for HIV positive people. I've been taking Tricor, which is a fibric acid drug, not a statin. Is this class of drug as beneficial as statins for HIV positive people? Should I consider combining a statin with Tricor? Or switch to a statin and discontinue Tricor?
