If I read the source article well, it is not the transmission of resistant virus which dropped 12-fold, but the incidence in HIV positives using cART.

Hi Kees. That's not quite right. The authors aren't inferring anything about more or less use of cART in recent years, but rather that more people are keeping their VLs undetectable and, thus, less likely to transmit drug-resistance virus. This, they suggest, is reflected in the lower incidence of transmitted drug-resistant HIV.
