it's about time NYC adopted these guidelines. despite what many refuse to understand, viruses ARE living things...when u have HIV, it is trying to turn u into it in every corner of ur body. essentially, HIV is EATING u. i see many poz ppl (including on this site) forgetting or ignoring the implication, THERE IS NO SAFE OR MEDICALLY ACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF VIRAL LOAD. also, expanding voluntary treatment will reduce new infections, a valid goal by itself. HIV is worse than HIV meds. kudos to NYC!
