I not sure it the test and treat folks where wrong in walking wisly on this issues for if we used test and treat years ago with AZT, many would be dead or if we used it with out haveing good evidence that many side effect of ARV needed to be revised for safty, through long term uses to define treatment. Plus this test and treat is an option I hope but many folks do not have sex, hence can wait to save their kidneys, liver and Heart for we know ARV's put at great deal of stress on these organs.

as evidence in favor of early treatment continues to accumulate, i wonder if/when vocal opponents of "Test and Treat" will own-up to their mistake?

This is great news in the goal to elimanating new HIV cases. In one of an earlier thank tank that I was part of a concept of useing Rapid HIV screening kits was advised to calibrate this HIV screening kit by using HIV Screening kits for a guild on one's viral load,(oral sure quick screening) for this test will show a dark purple if one's viral load is high and lighter if low and no color if undectable like diabetes test. I do have to disagree with the person that stated more funding is needed
