Everybody thinks that quitting smoking is hard for everyone but the reality is that the degree of difficulty is different for everyone. For me it isn't worth it! How do I come to that decision? You have to be about half stupid to not understand smoking is going to up the chances of cancer. And every other ailment a person can get. I sure hope they didn't spend much on this study, the money would be better used elsewhere. I quit a few years ago...yeah, I was one of the stupid. I'm happy with my choice.

I tried to quit several times over my life, but having a quadruple bypass in 2000 was the final straw. I still say that it's the most difficult thing I've ever done. After the first year or so came the anger over all the wasted money and health. Taking up smoking was about the only thing I ever did out of peer pressure at 13 years old. Smoking was still popular in the 60s, and you even had Fred & Wilma Flintstones selling Winstons.
