Being newly diagnosed with HIV is simple now. Take a daily pill & see your doctor regularly. Your life goes on as before. Those who were diagnosed with AIDS in the 80s (Long-Term AIDS Survivors) suffered severe irreversible damage to our brains & vital organs. We're 2 separate groups with VERY DIFFERENT needs _ Don't lump us together as HIV/AIDS!
