Magic Johnson is developing a campaign to fight HIV/AIDS by combating homophobia in hip-hop, The Huffington Post reports. He revealed plans for the campaign in a wide-ranging interview with HuffPost reflecting on the 20 years since he announced he was living with HIV and would retire from professional basketball. Johnson said he wanted to rally the hip-hop community to help deliver HIV/AIDS awareness to young people. He also said he intends to include basketball players and football players in the campaign. No date yet has been set for a formal announcement of the campaign.
