Wow. Keepin' 'em dumb in the Midwest. If HIV rates are so low in certain counties, that means they won't go through as many annually, will they? What will they do when someone comes home for a while, is not feeling well, seroconverts and wants to get tested asap?
Free HIV Testing? Not in Kansas anymore!

Haha wow...I was infected and diagnosed in a rural county with an extremely low population density, in which HIV tests were not readily available at the local clinic. When I asked the local physician about STIs and blood borne pathogens, he told me you would VISIBLY know if someone had HIV...or as he called it "the AIDS..." too bad the individual I wasn't able to get tested with infected me! Glad to see rural counties are keeping up the amazing standard of healthcare I've come to know!
