Part2- after I clocked out and went home, I did call back like I was asked at 2pm. That's when she told me that her boss said I could not come back. This was March of 2006. I had been diagnosed just 7 months prior. I could not convince a single lawyer to touch my case. My advice to you, get used to being discriminated. People choose to be ignorant and you can never fix this kind of stupid. The fear of HIV is overrated.

When [a restaurant] fired me, it was only after being in the clock for less than 30 minutes during the first day on the job, that the manager asked me into her office and said to me, are you HIV+ ? I was stunned. And then with an abundance of confidence I replied, yes I am, why?" She then told me that someone called and said, "the guy that drives that brown car, you should really think hard about letting him work there because he has aids." After I asked a few questions, I knew exactly who called. #1

Here we go with the “disability” defense again. Okay, so if HIV is a “disability,” why can’t the military rightly deem HIV infection a disability which bars enlistment or continued service?
