I used to volunteer for MCAP when I was a teenager. It sickens me to read about such abhorent behavior. I hope the state strings up all of the directors who are implicated.
When I hear about wrong doings like this, it tears at my heart. It tears my heart, becasue so many other non-profit groups are struggling today for funding, then you have groups like MCAP who do things like they have done.
It disgusted me when I hear this kind of abuse of trust and position. Why is it that people feel they can take money there 2 help those who r already vunerable when (by job definition) they profess 2 care? Where does the greed end?

I'm with you, Fiona. So much of this type of behavior exists with our "service" providers. I wonder if this is just a part of human nature. Maybe we need to move forward with the expectation that people we trust will not always live up to those expectations. Sad, but true.
