To determine if you have COPD, would HIV positive individuals need a chest x-ray in addition to a regular check up? Additionally, I can understand how smoking heroin, cocaine and marijuana will cause lung and respiratory damage, please explain how injecting heroin and/or cocaine will cause COPD. Maybe as a result of injecting drugs people are more likely to smoke when they are high therefore the same concern for COPD should be noted for alcohol drinking, when drinking people like to smoke too.
