because Alzheimers patients have a life expectancy of 8-10 years, give or take. The very fact that you have lived for 30 years after a diagnosis in 1984 when nothing was known of HIV should be proof to you that these articles have validity. Additionally, its quite possible that your depression and isolation can be the cause (or at least contributed) to your cancer and heart issues.
WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL PEOPLE? Why don't you also say "people with alzheimers have same life expectancy as normal people? HIV is a SERIOUS disease. I am 30 years into it have lot of fatigue, and depressed and isolate myself, body composition has changed, had a pulmonary embolism (i dont smoke) 3 lovely cases of cancer and am living on disability. These articles are INSANE.

Your title should be changed to "Life Expectancy for Rich Young People With HIV and Deep Pockets Is Nearly Normal"
