Inspiring article. I have learned to make friends with the condition and to embrace what benefits it gives me such as encouraging me to live a healthy lifestyle, look after myself physically, mentally and spiritually and also embrace life and live with purpose. Of course there are challenges but they just have to be dealt with, I now believe in owe it to myself to live awesomely.
"So what are you going to do?" That is THE question for everyone, but we people living with HIV have had our eyes forced open to the fact of our mortality. I know too many people who seem to be waiting for the hour-glass of their short time to run out. As for me, I'm living more deliberately and passionately than ever. (Thank you POZ for a really great, inspiring, well-written article.)
