I've been at this for 38 years now, saw it all from the start. Was part of the fight nationally, state and local. Worked for an ASO and battled many OIs. Trust me, there is nothing inconvenient about finding an hour to get to a doctor to get a shot once a month. My current regimen is failing, this is my next one. Once a month!? No pills!!?? Oh hell yeah! River deep, mountain high!!

As someone who was diagnosed at the age of 29 in 1993, it seems incredulous to me that you indicate that it may be inconvenient for some younger ppl to go to their doctor once a month for an injection! I started on AZT monotherapy every 6 hours ( setting an alarm nightly to get up and take a dose while sleeping), and my first 3 drug regimen of some 16 pills per day left me something like 1 hour and 45 min throughout the day when I was allowed to eat after factoring in restrictions for the meds.
