For Those With Lung Cancer, Risk of Death Is Higher if They Have HIV

I have a friend who was poz for several years and got diagnosed with lung cancer. Despite repeated treatments, he passed away at a young age of 38. So, it's not surprising that this study finds higher risk among POZ patients. This is also why recently HIV+ people NEED to get on treatment ASAP before any further damage can be done to their health.
