Mario Cooper spilled blessings over everyone he met. I, and others, knew him apolitically - as neighbor and friend over many years in Adams Morgan and Woodley Park and back to Adams Morgan again. We loved him. He was funny and sharp, mischievous and - affectionate. The loss is profoundly felt. We send him back triple the blessings that he bestowed, so that he, and his loved ones might find consolation, and finally, peace.
