The Dallas Buyer’s Club, an AIDS-themed film starring Matthew McConaughey, will premiere November 1, Variety reports. Originally scheduled for a December 6 release, the producers moved up the premiere to give the movie more time to build an audience before the holidays. The movie tells the story of Ron Woodroof, an HIV-positive heterosexual electrician who died in 1992 after illegally smuggling HIV drugs not approved in the United States. Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner also star in the film.
