Doubt the study will do anything positive for HIV/hep positive active duty. As someone who was Navy they may say being gay is workable but they'll want to continue issuing orders to those popping poz to abstain from unsafe sex. In the military mind that includes consensual sodomy. If they couldn't make kicking people want work on medical grounds they'd saysuch sex affects order and discipline violating fraternization rules. Conservativs would use any findings to say gays shouldn't be there.
