If managing HIV w/meds represent a encouragement for riskier behaviors to some, I wonder why meds have been created to battle diseases of any kind in the first place. Is it so hard to understand that to combat any infectious diseases you need not only meds but education.....and most Doctors these days are not willing to do that because it takes more time with each patient.....and that is bad for business.

I wonder about this. We are obviously talking about people that have been diagnosed but still not practicing safe sex, why would we think that they are the type of person that will religiously take their meds? I was infected by a man that was aware of his status. I am also resistent to some meds due to his wreckless behaviour.
