John Young
Diagnosed in 200 during my last year in college. My diagnosis also carried a co-infection of encephalitis. After months of cognitive rehabilitation and HAART I finished my final year with honors despite much stigma and dissappointment. At the time I was put on Kaletra, and Combivir with a dosing of Acylovir during hospitaliztion. Years later I still experience cognitive difficulties i.e. short-term memory impairment, depression, suicidal thoughts, poor sleep habits and much more.
