This is not the answer mutilating baby boys will not solve the problem as all thru history everyone wants to whack on a baby boy the first few days of his life for one reason or another. Safer sex education and practices is the answer.

This weaselly statement by the AAP follows two years after their attempt to allow American doctors to perform a "mild" form of FGM (genital nicking) into American hospitals, to appease parents hell-bent on cutting their girls. Forced genital cutting of any child is a blatant disregard and violation of that child's human rights. Follow the money and you'll find a lucrative billion dollar a year business for American doctors. See the YouTube video "Wash Your Hands Clean of the AAP." Brilliant!

Horsepucky! This barbaric custom of docking part of a child's anatomy because of ANY reason has got to stop! (Even tonsils are kept in nowadays!) It's child abuse - if he wants to cut off part of himself as an adult, it's his choice!! In a world of soap, water, male condoms and female condoms (which are great if you are a big boy and need the room!) the subject of circumcision should be MOOT. It's only a cash-grab by the attending physician!

What a crock of quackery! If circumcision reduces HIV risks and the U.S. has the highest rate of circumcision, why do we have one of the highest rates of HIV of any developed country in the world? Complete hogwash by the AAP! All they want to do is line their pockets with the fees.

I'm outraged because nobody seems to care that the AAP says right in the policy statement that they ignored the deaths, amputations, and cuts so botched they required touch-up surgery when doing their analysis.

Hundreds of thousands of men are enduring a tedious multi-year process of non-surgical foreskin restoration to undo just some of the sexual damage of circumcision.

Leave him intact. He'll thank you. Foreskin feels REALLY good.
