I guess I am still amazed that employers try to get away with this...are they STILL unaware of the ADA???

I had the same happen to me. Actually, two women quit, and then I was harassed until I quit. This was back in the early 90's, and it was a friend who had ratted me out. She was jealous because I came in to the company and took the job that she wanted. So she turned on me. Just goes to show that you have to STILL protect yourself, and make sure that your employer does not know your status, unless you have a great relationship with the business owner. Life is still so hard to deal with this issue

I wonder what this Nightclub boss would have done if the worker had gotten an HIV test and it had come back positive. Would the Nightclub then have refused to employ her? Probably would have done so! Clearly the Nightclub thinks it can bully and operate above the law. Doesnt the boss realise some patrons will be positive for different viruses?
