Thank you to the Coalition of Older People with HIV and all over HIV and Older People organizations worldwide for your hard work and devotion to what is now the Glasgow Manifesto. I was privileged to attend the 1983 Denver conference when People with AIDS first declared their rights to a national conference. I believe those PWAs would be cheering your work and would realize their voices were heard then and their sentiments are being expressed today. Great Work Everyone. Michael Helquist

I’m was expecting more comments on this. This is HUGE for every gay, straight or bisexual LTS-HIV person. It’s a CALL-TO-ACTION! For us! Why aren’t more people showing interest? A guy in my LTS Support Group said we need for all HIV meds to be free of charge to all LTS of HIV. That means for those treated prior to 1996. We also need a common forum for this type of suggestion. A Call To Action needs action or it’s just words on paper!!! Get involved!

An example of what makes life difficult is Medicare insurers not including antiretrovirals in their formularies even though they are supposed to be “protected” creating stress and uncertainty for treatment.

This seems like a copy and paste of the San Francisco Principles ? Should the not be mentioned ?

Funny. Just two years earlier, a group of long-term survivors published a similar document: The San Francisco Principles 2020 which was, in fact, covered by this very magazine. www.thesfprinciples.org
