Thank you @peterstaley for putting this issue in perspective for candidate, @KamalaHarris. HIV/AIDS activists like Mr. Staley understand these issues better than political staffers. I commend Senator Harris for bringing this important issue to the public. 'Mayor Pete' Buttigieg refuses to even discuss HIV/AIDS.

It is not fair to criticise the candidate who cared, just because she did not consult with the particular pundit-opinion rainmaker who scalds her for not talking to him, first. I have never heard of Ms. Harris before. I don't know her. I get free PrEP through the VA, as I am a veteran. I have no axe to sharpen. I simply feel that we should support people who try to save lives.
