Amazing how many poz people feel a sense of threat from this test. while many rightly point out various problems with it (the 8% false negative rate, the lack of mandatory counseling, potential abusive use against others by test-purchasers, etc) the dominant theme is the fear of not being able to hide one's HIV+ status from sex partners. some actually believe the poz community has the political juice to thwart the marketing of such tests! they're wrong. more accurate/affordable tests WILL come.
