I went from paying nothing for Triumeq last May , on my employer-based insurance and using a manufacturers coupon - to going on Medicare in June and paying $2300 out of pocket for a three month supply because Medicare is not allowed negotiate for prices. Just when my income went down, but not enough to get assistance. Terrible, terrible country.

That sick people have to put themselves and others at increased risk because of serious struggle to pay for HIV treatment is a sorry state of affairs. That a country that could afford to pay for medical treatment for its people but refuses to is a sorry state of affairs. On top of this, people are cost cutting and skipping diabetic meds, other costly medicines and treatments, too. Only in America!
