That sick people have to put themselves and others at increased risk because of serious struggle to pay for HIV treatment is a sorry state of affairs. That a country that could afford to pay for medical treatment for its people but refuses to is a sorry state of affairs. On top of this, people are cost cutting and skipping diabetic meds, other costly medicines and treatments, too. Only in America!

I went from paying nothing for Triumeq last May , on my employer-based insurance and using a manufacturers coupon - to going on Medicare in June and paying $2300 out of pocket for a three month supply because Medicare is not allowed negotiate for prices. Just when my income went down, but not enough to get assistance. Terrible, terrible country.
