Statins have a bad track record to start with. A major problem with statins is they exacerbate (Make Worse) peripheral neuropathy. I was on statins 2 weeks and it felt like I had put my hands and feet into a fire ant nest. During testing of how bad my peripheral nerve damage was I asked the techs if a link to Statins making PN worse as a side effect. I was told yes.
