The Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation (AIM), a preferred health care provider for many porn actors, has closed permanently, The Associated Press (AP) reports. Diane Duke, executive director of the Free Speech Coalition, a trade association for the porn industry, made the announcement. AIM was shut down temporarily in 2010 for operating without a license. Earlier this year, AIM was accused of medical privacy violations after patient information appeared online. AIM also faced allegations from state and local health officials of failing to cooperate with an investigation into the HIV-positive diagnosis of porn actor Derrick Burts at the clinic in 2010.
