I've never been a client of ASC, but I know that Sharen values and prioritizes the meaningful involvement of PLHIV and that their peer program is exceptional. I wish more agencies and EDs prioritized peer to peer work and supported networks of PLHIV. Full disclosure: ASC recognized my HIV criminalization work several years ago (one of the first service providers to honor that work), but my comment is based on first-hand observation of their program development and service delivery.

This is one CEO who walks through the front desk and around her agency and doesn't even acknowledge staff or clients. You can tell she's one of those at the job because she's getting a high salary. Don't try to sugar-coat this woman who doesn't do much for that agency except get press exposure.
