I hope researchers will start recommending PrEP for women with multiple partners, women whose men have multiple partners, and sex workers, not just MSM. I’ve had doctors who refused me PrEP or acted like it was suspect that I take PrEP. It is common for women to take PrEP in parts of Africa where HIV is prevalent. There are women around the world who are at high risk, also, and are not being advised of PrEP because many doctors are not familiar with its use in women.
