Swaziland, the country with the highest HIV rate and lowest life expectancy, is shelving its current HIV prevention program, PlusNews reports. ABC (Abstain, Be Faithful, Condoms) has done nothing to slow the spread of HIV or lower AIDS-related deaths in the Southern African country, according to the National Emergency Response Council on HIV/AIDS. A new study is looking into Swazi sexual behavior and the motivations behind sexual risk-taking. Findings from the countrywide study will help design a new HIV prevention program.
