The two point something increase the the transfer of various STI’s is appalling! Back in the 70’s and 80’s we barely knew that HIV existed until friends started dropping dead from Kaposis and PCP. Most of the early victims were bottoms and we knew it. Suddenly condoms were used or guys refused anal. Lots of us are alive today because we changed our behavior. Maybe it’s time to not depend on prep or a cure soon but it may be time to think about the risks every time a zipper drops.
