My 8yo daughter is HIV possitive. She plays softball, takes gymnastics, engages in church activities, plays with friends, takes swimming lessons, AND attends several day camps in the summer. She is not ill, she is very healthy. My husband and I do not disclose to the school or these organizations because we see no need to do so. Our daughter does not pose a threat to others while participating in these normal activities that any child would do. I think the actions of this camp are disgraceful.
