I so happy for you. I too am a long time, I found out in 1989 when my husband admitted his behavior. Moving past his bisexuality, I prayed my kids were ok, I was not but I'm still here and hold no bitterness. I would say release and let of go of blame that will help keep you as well.

Ruben's story is similar to mine. I'm 62 and was infected 1984. CD4 cells were 200. No test existed for viral load. In the late 80's and early 90's my health began to get worse. By this time I was in an early protease study. In '94, I collapsed on the street After 3 days in a coma I was told I ha Ventricular Fibrillation., possibly a side effect of protease inhibitors. Year later, CMV then thrush. Today I was diagnosed with SPS in my left leg. I feel my life story may help others.
