Im not surprised and glad these two clinics are being looked into. Its well known in the community that both clinics are the Grantee's Pet projects and he always looks out for both clinics. Patients have complained at the Planning Council meetings about both sites but the Grantee has failed to do anything! I could not agree with the other comment about the Case Managers at both sites need to be looked into also!
Wow this is surprising. I'm a patient at FHC in San Diego on 30th St. and my doctor "L" rocks! She actually listens to me and is thorough. I've found the clinic staff to be very good as well. Their case workers are not too bright, don't know how to return phone calls and I find I know more than them. If they want to investigate someplace, try the hell that is UCSD's Owen Clinic. I actually had my care provider there say "I'm in charge of your health care and you have to do what I say."

Wow I'm not even surprised. The San Ysidro clinic was a joke. The doctor always seemed to rush through my visit. I signed paperwork to have my records brought over from the Owens clinic and in 6 months they never arrived. Now I'm at the clinic on 30th, but not really happy about it. Finding a good HIV/AIDS doctor or clinic is like a needle in a haystack.
