you see this man is doing his job and paying taxes and taking care of his family, but , our president wants to keep this police officer from doing his job , Donald Trump wants to get rid of SOCIAL SECURITY, so how is this police officer suppose to get on with his life and make a living? Situations like this is, whats wrong with Donald trump's ideas of making America great.
The DoD policy has merit. Our military is unique in that US military forces are charged by Congress to defend not only our homeland but our friends, allies and national interests worldwide. This often requires our military personnel to be deployed to places that lack a functioning health system and where our military may not be able to provide complex care for chronic health conditions such as cancer, diabetes, acute mental health conditions, and yes, HIV. BTW: I am a gay veteran living with HIV
There are a lot of cases where personnel have been deployed and stationed oversees. There are certain other country restrictions that we have to abide by or risk international incident for breach of that country and ours. It’s not just that our policies are out dated, other factors apply. All of this is explained to service members after they contract the virus.

So he can't deploy, so what, there are many Soldiers that don't deploy for different reasons etc. We have Non-commissioned officers that don't deploy, let him go to OCS or ROTC and commission. We still need officers here in the good ol USA and Germany. There is no reason for him to not be allowed to move forward in his career he has deployed several times already.
