Reading the article, I had a "God No!" moment. I remember the early eighties; seemed like we were just starting to make some progress then too. I'm not about to suggest a conspiracy though; I lost a few HEALs to conspiracy. Debbie's comment got me Googling. I found a blog post about the Braking AIDS Ride. It felt cosmic as I'm riding in the Friends for Life Bike Rally next month (sponsor me at bikerally.org). I'll ride for Kyle and talk about meningitis. I won't go through eighties shit again.
