I think this is a wonderful thing for long term survivors. The only thing that disturbs me is that when I see such positive things I feel like they're not meant for me. I am a heterosexual woman who is also a long term survivor but when it comes to support such as what is shown here people such as me are not part of the picture.
I am also a long term survivor of 25 plus years and approaching 60 years living. I have found that since this disease is called a manageable nowadays our government namely HRSA has cut any funding for psycho social services for such a happening. I know that the older I have gotten the more reclusive I have become, especially with a few health conditions now.
I was wondering if there are any groups in Wichita Kansas area. Please email me if there is. I have been here for two years and have yet to become friends with anyone. Maybe this will help. I am a 26 year survivor. Military veteran and working professional. Please send me information when you are able. Thank You.

Support is a great thing.....very hard to date being HIV in NJ at my current age etc...anything in central NJ?
