Why introduce a killer med which can damage your kidneys. This is not fair to people living with HIV.
it should be noted that boosting agent cobicistat is NOT an antiretroviral...it only displays pharmacokinetic-enhancing activity...i have seen some marketing-speak implying that it makes developing resistance to PIs less likely. furthermore, cobicistat is supposedly more selective, only inhibiting cyp450 3A4...it does not suppress other cyp 450 enzymes like Norvir does, so there should be less drug interactions. cobicistat also appears to be more stressful to kidney function.
Maybe some of you folks can help me out to try and understand something, some here know I use to get courted by the Rx Companies for they would show up everwhere in my path mysterily next to me in a plane seat, so I learned a lot and thing I learned was they spent millions on marketing research to pick a name for new drug. How does one pronouce this Stribild and does it have any meaning to any one here in the USA or Globally or a conected to any language.
This pill sounds interesting and I had a chance to sit in on one of Gilead's warning commercials at Desert AIDS Project hear in the Valley. The latic acie issues was not mention I guess it is new and as a massage theripist we warn clients to drink lots of water after a massage for the latic acid is discreated in less letha doses. Drink a lot of Water. This session the rep did talk about fat build up in the liver,Vitamin K in Green food help clean out the bile duct to help expell fats or lipids

If Gilead was honest in their intention with Stribild and transparent in thier pricing schemes or levels of perfered pricing one would understand this new drug better. American Diets are diriffent then most on the globe, hence lots of fat, surgars and inbalance stuff. This pill if research I believe might be a great pill for the Middle East (where we know the pandemic is moving fast do to know treatment and testing for years and still none ie India)I thinking this pill was made for people in India
