wish i could of contributed to the survey. however, the data represent my 8 year experience while on hiv meds. my biggest concern is that i dont take them in a strict 8 hour interval. sometimes i will take my am dosage close to 12 noon and my pm dose at late night, around 10 pm. i wonder what is, if any, the medical consequence of not dosing at a tighter schedule. in the past year my viral load became detectable (less than 100 up fron non detectable. any causal relationship? thank you!

I'm on an old school multi-drug combo that's still working. Started on AZT 01/1990. Now take meds for multiple non-HIV related chronic conditions. But all are well under control. Just there's a LOT of meds that I take daily. I keep them in a drawer in a tall chest EZ to access. While dinner finishes, I lay out w/dinner, next AM right away/w coffee and AM w/Breakfast on top. Next AM I just have to grab them. The b4 sleep ones I keep on in my bdrm. Take 'em when I go in to watch TV in bed.

Certainly I wouldn't want to jinx myself, but in 5½ years I haven't missed a dose. It comes down to doing what we know we must if we really do want to stay healthy and NOT be in denial about the responsibility of staying on top of what we must to as fully assure that as possible. And who knows? We might even be around long enough for the hoped-for cure.
