The headline is misleading. The study shows increased risk of Tenofovir interfering with kidney function -- a condition which reverses itself when Tenofovir is discontinued. It's not any kind of permanent damage as the title implies. The actual title of the study is, "Long-term Exposure to Tenofovir Continuously Decrease Renal Function in HIV-1-Infected Patients With Low Body Weight"." *Decrease Renal Function* is not *Kidney Damage*
