No judgments here on Lasorda’s kid, but my aunt worked at the cemetery where Lasorda Jr was buried; and whatever precautions were taken to indicate he died from HIV/AIDS-related illness was taken.

I tested poz for HIV in 1986. Reviewing my personal history, and "doing the math," I concluded with certainty that I contracted the virus in 1981, when I was a resident in the Bay Area, CA. Clearly, because I am writing in 2021, I survived. I'm now well into my Senior years and retired, but OH! ...what a struggle it has been, and everyone who helped along the way is on my list of personal heroes. RIP Tommy Lasorda, Jr., your life helped me cope!
