WELL IF TRUE... HE SHOULD BE TRIED..IF U HAVE HIV AND BITE A POLICEMAN THEN U GET CHARGED.... HOPE THE COP IS NOT LYING... SOME COPS DO.... HE WILL GET HIS TIME IN COURT.... HOPE HE GETS A GOD LAWYER... HE WILL NEED IT..

this fool not only is a criminal shoplifter but attempted to bite an officer..depending on his meds status he could be undetectable(bite wouldnt matter) or explosive high viral load...bite would matter. Anyone that attempts to bite and officer should get the slammer aids or not.

First, what's up with the link to the Sentinel article? When I clicked on it, it said, "Forbidden, you don't have access to this.." But on to the main point. Something has to be done about all these prosecutions--especially the biting ones. Has there ever been a documented case of a transmission from a bite? I do not think so. If it were that easy to spread, everyone would be infected. This only spreads more fear and stigma. Where are the folks who can get media attention for this?
