The United States and Vietnam have agreed to a “partnershipframework” to fight HIV/AIDS in Vietnam, according to a State Departmentstatement. The five-year plan increases HIV prevention, care and treatment, aswell as strengthens health care systems overall. The U.S. President’s EmergencyPlan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), already the largest health program in Vietnam,will further support the priorities in the partnership framework.
