The Transgender Law Center and its Positively Trans (T+) project have been offering a digital storytelling workshop with the goal of telling the stories of transgender people living with and impacted by HIV.

Five of the videos premiered last week at a launch event in Atlanta and are now viewable online. They feature five black transgender women from the South.

The videos are a companion piece to a Positively Trans survey about the lives of transgender people living with HIV, according to a Transgender Law Center press release. Initial findings from the survey were compiled in a report focused on advocacy and health care.

The videos were created in a workshop facilitated by the Story Center and with support by the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Levi Strauss Foundation.
