Executive directors from 35 groups nationwide have signed an open letter to the LGBT community encouraging a recommitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS, according to a statement from the National Minority AIDS Council, which is led by Paul Kawata, one of the signers. “I am thrilled to be a part of this campaign to re-energize the LGBT response and work together to realize the vision of an AIDS-free generation,” said Kawata.
