How far science has fallen. People took medication and lived while those that didn't take it died. So now most people in their 70s, 80s, and 90s have taken a very common medication and are experiencing normal aging problems. Yeah this medication may have side effects but don't take it and you will die. But take it live longer and allow lawyers to sue because you were saved by the drug.

Zeroing on codeine (a reliable painkiller) and benadryl (a reliable OTC for numerous painful and debilitating conditions) is another example of trying to deprive majority of needy patients of useful meds. It is based on shoddy science and insignificant statistical difference between users and non-users. It is an attack on quality of life of HIV patients in the name of war on opioids. Less than 10% difference between benefit and harm should be considered an acceptable risk for pain suffererers.
